Manufactured completley in Stainless Steel and mounted on a Stainless Steel framework making Bhagwati’s Slat Band Conveyors extremly hygenic which enables the customer to have in place a wash down facility imperitive to the Food Industry and Pharmaceutical Company for hygiene. Slats can acheive a very tight radius 200mm centre line radius is possible with 3.25" & 4.5" wide slat. And 610mm is possible with 7.5", 10" and 12" wide slats. Which is invaluble where space is of a premium such as on the factory floor.

The slats are usually manufactured from heat resistant plastic (acetal ) or Stainless Steel allowing them to be used for heat drying process applications. Slat Conveyors are extremely strong and of robust construction which gives them long lasting dependable performance.
When fitted with rubber inserts, the conveyor can be angled up to 45 degrees depending on the product. Note transfer rollers can be added to aid transfer of the products.

Our Plastic Slat Band Conveyors can be fixed or variable speed drives with or without side guides. Usually mounted on tripod style legs which can have an adjustable height facility. Because of the low friction of Slat Conveyors they are also used in the lablelling and packaging industry.
